Dime It

The late great Dimebag Darrell is a serious metal guitar hero, and Dean’s series of Dimebag models pay homage. Dimebag started playing Dean ML-style guitars in the late ’70s and made it one of the most recognizable shapes today. Dean offers a wide variety of Dimebag MLS to choose from, all boasting Dimebag’s distinctive look and tons of mojo and attitude.

Basswood Body

The Dimeblade features a lightweight basswood body. Basswood is great for heavier rock and metal styles, delivering a nice even tone that feeds a dirt pedal (or a dimed Marshall) nicely.

Of course what’s really striking about the body is the wicked custom finish. Dimebag and his signature are portrayed, along with his trademark razor necklace, over green lightning graphics.

Bolt-On Construction

Bolt-on neck construction provides an affordable alternative to set-neck or thru-body designs. The advantage of this design is that if you do have any neck trouble down the line, you can easily replace it.

The Dimeblade’s maple neck features an ultra-playable 22-fret rosewood fingerboard, with classic dot inlays.

Dean Humbucker Pickup

This axe keeps it simple on the electronics front, featuring just a single Dean Humbucker, in black-and-white “zebra” style for looks as good as the sounds. This pickup provides more than enough bite for modern styles, along with plenty of low-end and midrange definition. Volume and tone controls are provided.

Chrome Hardware

The Dimeblade features a Tune-o-Matic style bridge with string-thru-body design, complete with the classic wing-shaped Dean tailpiece. Dean tuners complete the hardware package, providing solid tuning to support your chops.
